Music Speaks in the Western Region
The Western Region includes Alaska, Arizona, California, Hawaii, Idaho, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, Washington, Guam, American Samoa, Mariana Islands. Of these, Music Speaks serves in the state of California.
Music Speaks, LLC started serving the Western Region in 2017. We currently serve in central California within the cities of Sacramento, Fresno and Merced, but are always growing! Please contact us to learn if services are available in your area.

Meet our western region therapists:
Angelika Kline, Intern
Angelika is earning her bachelor's degree from Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, Michigan. She is currently completing her internship with Music Speaks in Fresno, California. Angelika has experience working with both children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Darby Meade, Intern
Darby Meade is earning her Master of Music Therapy from Illinois State University in Normal, Illinois. She is completing her internship with Music Speaks. Darby serves in Fresno, CA. Darby has experience working with children and adults with intellectual or developmental disabilities, adults with Alzheimers and/or dementia, and in a pediatric oncology unit.
Kierstin Herbert, MT-BC
Kierstin earned her Bachelor's of Music in Music therapy from Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, Michigan. She completed her internship at Music Speaks in Merced, California. Kierstin serves in Merced, California. Kierstin has experience working with children with ID/DD and older adults with Alzheimer's and Dementia.
Riley Jarrells, MT-BC
Riley is a Field Therapist and Waiver Advisor at Music Speaks. Riley earned her bachelor's of music in music therapy and minor in psychology from Radford University in Radford, Virginia. She completed her internship at Able ARTS Work in Long Beach, California. Riley serves in Fresno, California. Riley has experience working with children (3-6 years old) and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
